This fellowship aims to prepare the trainee for an independent research career in the area of pharmacogenomics. The fellow will be involved with pharmacogenomics implementation research and clinical activities to support the pharmacogenomics clinic. Additional fellowship experiences may include research with the Penn Medicine Biobank, genomic and other -omic data analysis, contribution to grant proposals, preparation of abstracts and manuscripts, and presentations of research at local and national meetings. Opportunity to enroll at coursework at the Perelman School of Medicine is available. Requirements: US Citizen or permanent resident, eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of Pennsylvania, Doctor of Pharmacy degree and PGY1 residency.
The Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania has a rich infrastructure for clinical, translational and genetic research under the newly formed Penn Medicine Center for Genomic Medicine.
