East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month faculty position in the Department of Pharmacy Practice in collaboration with the College of Nursing. This position is for a clinical-track appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
The faculty member will primarily provide collaborative, interdisciplinary patient care in the Johnson City Community Health Center and the Johnson City Downtown Day Center in disease state management and population health services while applying specialized knowledge of pharmacotherapy to direct patient care, teaching, and consultation in transitions of care. The successful applicant will also teach in the didactic curriculum, precept students in the professional experiential program, mentor and precept PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents, engage in meaningful scholarship, including publications and regional/national presentations, and pursue extramural funding in collaboration with College of Nursing and Gatton College of Pharmacy colleagues as opportunities arise. The faculty member will also provide service to the College, the University, and broader professional community.
