General Summary of Position


We have a rare opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacist Evenings to join our team at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 7 on 7 off position with rotating weekends, the shift is 11:30am -10:00pm.

Provides pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of a more senior clinical pharmacist/manager. Evaluates and interprets physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice as well as state and district and Federal laws.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Doctoral degree PharmD or equivalent Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy required

Experience

• 1-2 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required
• PGY-1 preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RPH - Registered Pharmacist Licensure in the state of Maryland required
• Board certification Upon Hire preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.

This position has a hiring range of $100,588 - $190,340
