Academic Fellowship

The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy Academic Fellowship is a 12-month program located in Columbia, S.C. that aims to develop highly proficient clinical academicians who will excel in all pillars of academia, including teaching, scholarship, and service. Fellows will be mentored by accomplished scholars, researchers and teachers. Clinical practice sites will be matched to the fellow’s area of interest or specialty (e.g., cardiology, infectious diseases, internal medicine, pediatrics, primary care). Fellows selected for the program will begin in July each year. Graduates of this program will be qualified to seek full-time employment at a college/school of pharmacy.

Minimum applicant requirements:

- Completion of PGY1 residency by the start of fellowship; PGY2 residents also encouraged to apply

- Eligible for licensure in South Carolina
