This direct hire position offers a petitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $179,000 per year, along with prehensive benefits. As a key member of the pharmacy department, you will be responsible for patient counseling, medication management, and ensuring pliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute medications in accordance with Federal and State laws.
  • Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage and therapeutic outes.
  • Advise medical, nursing, and munity staff on drug therapy and medication management.
  • Maintain a suitable drug inventory to meet patient needs effectively.
  • Engage in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care.
  • Use independent professional judgment to evaluate prescriptions for safety and appropriateness.
  • Conduct Drug Utilization Evaluations to improve patient care and educate medical staff.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Alaska pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Required experience in a clinical pharmacy setting (inpatient).
