In this role, the Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the immediate and direct supervision of all pharmacy staff members, all department supervisory staff and subordinates, staff pharmacists, interns, technicians, volunteers and clerkship externship students. Directs the workflow of pharmacy staff in coordinating proper staffing and coverage of all pharmacy areas, services and related functions
This is a full-time day shift position including rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Preferred Criteria:
- Master's of Science degree with a specialization in Hospital Pharmacy Administration.
- 1 year Pharmacy residency training.
- Knowledgeable of USP 797/800 guidelines.
- Experience with chemotherapy compounding and operating room pharmacy operations.
- Experience with pharmacy automation (i.e. Omnicell cabinets & carousel)
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Degree from an ACPE-accredited college of Pharmacy.
- 3 years of relevant practice.
- Currently licensed and Registered Pharmacist in New York State.
