Clinical Pharmacists

McLeod Health is searching for clinical pharmacists to join our growing team at our Seacoast campus in Little River, SC (two minutes from beautiful North Myrtle Beach). We are seeking a clinical pharmacist specialist for critical care and a nightshift staff pharmacist.

Essential Functions

Critical Care:

· Works as a team member with a positive attitude when interacting with other department employees including pharmacy students and residents in addition to other hospital personnel

· Displays expertise in medication therapy and exhibits the clinical and professional skills to positively interact with physicians, nurses, residents, students, and other health care practitioners

· Works primarily in a decentralized model providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services including but not limited to pharmacokinetics, drug dosing consultations, and adult parenteral nutrition management.

Qualifications/Education/Licenses:

• PGY1 required for the pharmacist specialist / not required for the staff pharmacist

• Ability to work independently required

• Baccalaureate or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy required

• Current, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the state of South Carolina
