Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist

As a member of the Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy team, our pharmacists have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams caring for our critical care population. Coverage areas include neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, cardiac intensive care, emergency department, cardiac transplant, labor & delivery, and the operating room. Our pharmacists serve as the medication expert on the multidisciplinary team, review and verify orders, perform therapeutic drug monitoring, participate in code response, answer drug information questions, and more. With four (4) PGY1 residents, four (4) PGY2 residents, ~25 pharmacy interns, and many pharmacy students on rotation precepting opportunities are readily available. We currently have two open positions on this team: and Overnight Clinical Pharmacist Critical Care and Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Float Critical Care.

Salary Range: $119,014.63 to $178,521.95 ($58.36 - $87.54/hour)

Shift: Monday - Friday, days/evenings. Every 3rd weekend rotating and selected holidays.

Qualifications:
Education:  Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
Experience:  Completion of one year pharmacy residency.
Equivalency: One year of pharmacy work experience accepted in lieu of residency.
Licensure: State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Pharmacist license.
