SUMMARY OF JOB:

Responsible for preparing and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies using standard professional procedures. Lead Pharmacist will manage and perform all day to day responsibilities while providing high quality, comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients of the Redeemer Health System and those in the community, in compliance with legal, regulatory and professional standards. This includes drug distribution function, as well as clinical (cognitive) activities plus educational and supervisory functions. Lead Pharmacist will be responsible for training the staff and growing the pharmacy business all provided under the auspices of the Redeemer Health's Mission and Values.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of 2- 4 year's prior experience in a retail pharmacy and/or hospital out-patient pharmacy setting required
* Pharmacy Management experience required
* Ability to work a rotating day, evening and Saturday shifts is critical
* MTM certification required
* Immunization certification required
* Completion of an ASHP- accredited residency desirable but not required

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

* Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with an entry-level pharmacy degree (B.Sc. or Pharm.D)
* Pennsylvania pharmacist licensure in good standing (or eligibility for licensure)
* Pennsylvania Authorization to Administer injectables in good standing (or eligible for licensure)
* ACLS certification in good standing
