Under the direction of Pharmacy Management, the Clinical Pharmacist provides quality patient care through medication management, healthcare collaboration and professional judgment.# The Clinical Pharmacist will oversee the ongoing evaluation, verification and documentation of all medication occurrences throughout the patient#s experience.# This position will be a medical liaison to the patient, providers and other healthcare professionals, providing accurate medication education and drug information.# The Clinical Pharmacist will oversee the activities of the pharmacy technicians and pharmacy residents, and adhere to local, state, and federal laws defined by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Qualifications: Education: Requires a Bachelor#s degree or PharmD#in pharmacy. Experience: Must have a minimum of one (1) year of pharmacy experience; OR have ASHP-accredited post graduate pharmacy residency training. Prefer experience in a hospital setting. Specialized Training: None Certification/Licensure: Requires Pharmacy licensure in good standing in the state of Arizona. Knowledge, Skills # Abilities: Must possess good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with pharmacy staff, nursing, physicians, patients and other health care professionals. Must have knowledge of computer software, pharmacy related systems and Microsoft applications. Experience with automated dispensing systems (i.e., Pyxis) is beneficial. Expected to demonstrate ability and willingness to maintain competency as required for job title and specific area(s) of responsibility.# Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values. Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English. Salary Range: Hourly rate:#$52.58 - $77.56
