The Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Pharmacy is seeking a Clinical Instructor/Clinical Pharmacist to join the Ambulatory Pharmacy Services unit. The practice site for this pharmacist position is in the Oncology Clinic Pharmacy located in the Outpatient Care Center (OCC) of UI Health. The Oncology Clinic Pharmacy provides comprehensive services to the Cancer Center's oncology clinic patients. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with shifts varying based on operational needs.

Clinical Pharmacist responsibilities include providing pharmaceutical care (distribution and clinical) for patients seen at the UI Health Oncology Clinic and other clinics. Responsibilities also include verifying and filling medication orders, supervising the preparation of intravenous therapies (including chemotherapy), pharmacy staff development; and coordinating and conducting quality initiatives.
Clinical Instructor responsibilities of the position include the provision of didactic and clinical experiential teaching/training in the College of Pharmacy’s Doctor of Pharmacy Program.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Candidates must be licensed or eligible for Illinois licensure as a professional pharmacist.
-Candidates must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy PharmD program.
-Candidates must possess knowledge and skills such that they qualify for a non-tenured clinical faculty position with the Department of Pharmacy ----
-Practice at the UIC College of Pharmacy. Academic rank commensurate with experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in oncology and infusion therapy practice
-Completed ASHP residency training and an emphasis in oncology
