Pharmacist (DH; F/T) Needed in Yuma, AZ
Our client, a healthcare entity has a need for a direct-hire, full-time pharmacist in their 400-bed hospital in Yuma, AZ. The pharmacist works closely with medical providers and nursing staff to ensure optimal care is provided.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Salary: $54 - $70/hr
Bonuses:
Up to $20k sign-on bonus
Eligibility for Relocation Bonus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures the safe and effective use of medications through order verification
Assessment of medication selection, dosing regimen, and administration
Provide drug information and education
Drug therapy monitoring services and procurement at the hospital
Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance operations and service outcomes
Evaluates medication drug therapies
Answers questions about drug information
Supervises technician activities and medication management processes
Precepts pharmacy students and help oversee pharmacy residents
Qualifications and Education Required:
Bachelor degree in Pharmacy
Pharmacist Licensure in Arizona
5 years of experience
Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred
