Clinical Pharmacy Manager

As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will utilize your clinical knowledge and lead a clinical team in a progressive healthcare environment to strengthen and expand pharmacy programs. You will develop drug policy to support optimal pharmaceutical care; Assess, develop, coordinate, implement and maintain clinical pharmacy programs and services; Develop and implement an Annual Clinical Plan with Director of Pharmacy and the Regional Vice President of Clinical Services; Provide leadership in the development and maintenance of drug policy which promotes optimal, cost-effective pharmaceutical care for all patients; Contribute to development and maintenance of clinically relevant tools to support clinical programs and aid the Director of Pharmacy in maintaining regulatory compliance. This is a newly added position to the department and will evolve from a combination of staffing and clinical pharmacist duties to a more focused and defined Clinical Management Role. This position will allow require a strong pharmacy clinician and will provide opportunities to make a huge impact in the development and expansion of the Pharmacy department.
Schedule: This position will work full time 40 hours per week. NO on call.
About the Facility: Oaklawn Hospital was founded more than eight decades ago and is a highly regarded independently owned regional health care organization, licensed for 77 acute care beds, offering over 35 specialties as well as a 17-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. Oaklawn Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital, with a main campus residing on the same site as the original hospital, providing facilities, equipment and technology that are usually only found at larger health systems. Oaklawn has a reputation for advancing medicine and providing compassionate, personal care to Calhoun County and parts of Branch and Eaton counties with a medical staff of more than 150 providers representing over 35 specialties. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open 24/7/365.
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD or BA in Pharmacy with four years of hospital pharmacy practice experience
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Michigan
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program preferred
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting
- BCPS preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions and respond to client concerns
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- Respirator FIT Mask Test
- COVID Vaccine-(or approved exemption)
