We are growing our department and we are adding multiple clinical pharmacists to join our pharmacy team.  The following are the Pharmacist positions available at UF Health Jacksonville:

  • Medication Use and Policy
  • Internal Medicine/Transitional Care Unit (Long-term care)
  • Ambulatory Care (new)
  • Oncology (new)
  • Infectious Diseases (new)
  • Glycemic Stewardship (new)
  • Clinical Evening Shift (Mon-Fri) (new)

Job Summary: Our Pharmacists provide and support pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics and medication education. To participate in the performance improvement, academic programs and clinical research activities of the department. To serve as a liaison to the medical and nursing staff.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy).

Preferred Education: Post-graduate residency training.

Required Licensure/Certifications: Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida -OR- Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer.

Preferred Licensure/Certifications: Consultant Pharmacist License preferred for Internal Medicine/Transitional Care Unit. 

Required Experience: Less than one year Pharmacist/intern experience.

Preferred Experience: PGY1 experience and/or advanced training in specific practice area for all listed specialties. PGY2 experience and/or advanced training in specific practice area for all listed specialties except Oncology and Internal Medicine/Transitional Care Unit.
