Pharmacy Practice Faculty Position

Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Tenure Track.  A strong background in general ambulatory care or pharmacy practice is required. The person in this position will teach ambulatory care courses, case-based courses, and pharmacy skills courses in the Pharm.D. curriculum All specialties will be considered and are encouraged to apply. However, preference will be given to the candidates with a PGY2 in ambulatory care and those specialized in the areas of women’s health, men’s health, dermatology and/or immunotherapeutics, and pain management. Since this is a tenure track position, experience in research and/or scholarship is desired. In addition to teaching, scholarly activity, and service on departmental, school and university committees are expected. A Pharm.D. with a PGY1 residency/fellowship or equivalent practice experience is required. Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California. If not licensed in California, licensure within one year of hire is expected.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California
  • Pharm.D. with a PGY1 residency/fellowship or equivalent experience.
