Chair-Pharmacy Practice

The School of Pharmacy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is accepting application packages for a Chair of Pharmacy Practice position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the activities of the Department of Pharmacy Practice, which includes fostering relationships between the pharmacy community and the School of Pharmacy, to provide practice opportunities for faculty and professional experiences for students. The Chair will also provide oversight of the Office of Experiential Education and serve as mentor to practice faculty, encouraging excellence in teaching, service, and multidisciplinary research activities. This position reports directly to the Dean, will serve as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee, and is expected to represent the school in both internal and external constituencies. The Chair will also maintain active teaching and scholarship commensurate with the overall duties and responsibilities of this position.
