Job Details:

The Department of Pharmacy Practice of Mercer University College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure-track faculty position.

 

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities will be to establish, maintain, and update policies and procedures for the introductory pharmacy practice experience (IPPE) program; develop and execute the IPPE curriculum based on ACPE standards, CAPE outcomes, EPAs, and federal and state laws and assist in evaluating the performance of existing preceptors and practice sites as well as assessing potential preceptors and practice sites for participation in the experiential education program. Additional responsibilities include college service and scholarly activity.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a PharmD with PGY1 and PGY2 residency or equivalent experience (minimum of 2 years of clinical experience), exemplify a passion for didactic teaching, and demonstrate effective communication skills with preceptors, students, and key stakeholders related to experiential education.
