This 2-year fellowship aims to prepare the trainee for an independent research career in the area of pharmacogenomics. The fellow will primarily be involved with clinical pharmacogenomics implementation research with areas of focus in oncology, cardiology and psychiatry. Additional fellowship experiences include participation in a pharmacist-run pharmacogenomics clinic, grant-writing, development of laboratory-based skills, biobank research, genomic and other -omic data analysis, preparation of abstracts and manuscripts, presentation of research at national meetings. Fellows will have the opportunity to obtain a Master’s Degree. Requirements: US Citizen or permanent resident, eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of Pennsylvania, Doctor of Pharmacy degree and PGY1 residency.
