The school is seeking applicants for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-eligible, regular track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor with training and experience in the area of Critical Care.

This faculty member will practice as a member of the multidisciplinary teams in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of the University of Colorado Hospital on the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado in Aurora, Colorado. The successful candidate will practice in partnership with other faculty at the School of Pharmacy. This faculty member will be expected to participate in innovative clinical practices in the MICU (approximately 50-60% time, but flexible depending on the candidate), which serves as a model site for student and resident training and affords opportunities for scholarly and research activities. In addition to clinical practice, the successful candidate for this position will be expected to provide classroom-based and experiential teaching and course direction within the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum (both on-campus and distance degree programs), engage in service and scholarship activities in support of their clinical and teaching efforts, and to pursue endeavors that advance their professional development as an academician.

Applicants must have a PharmD degree; have completed PGY2 residency training in critical care or have equivalent clinical experience; be board certified in critical care (BCCCP), or actively pursuing board certification; and must be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Colorado. Previous academic experience is preferred but not required.
