The University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking an Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy Quality and Outcomes to join their team in Williston, VT.

The Coordinator, Specialty Pharmacy Quality and Outcomes is responsible for the management of quality programs and patient management programs for the specialty pharmacy Participates in the development and execution of the department strategic and operational planning process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to planning, implementing and evaluating quality management programs, improvement plans or initiatives for the department. Duties focus on all aspects of quality process improvement and are conducted in accordance with professional standards, organizational and departmental objectives and applicable regulatory requirements. Responsible for patient and departmental outcomes, which can be presented to payers, manufacturers and accrediting organizations.

EDUCATION:

• Doctor of Pharmacy or registered pharmacist required. ASHP residency program completion encouraged. Equivalent experience or certification considered. Licensed pharmacist in the state of Vermont with a license in good standing.

EXPERIENCE:

• Three years of experience in specialty pharmacy or ambulatory care setting. Equivalent experience accepted. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and facilitate work teams.
