Responsibilities:
The Director, Consumer Pharmacy Services provides oversight for the performance and development of pharmacy services which directly interface with our patients. The scope of these services is inclusive of but not limited to retail pharmacy services, centralized fulfillment activities, Meds2Chair, Meds2Home, and Meds2Beds services. Oversight activities include the successful financial & clinical operation and management of the business under the Director's purview. Pharmacy services considered in-scope also include clinical pharmacy initiatives not limited to bedside delivery service, medication adherence, medication synchronization, therapeutic interchanges, over the counter drugs, wearables, and potentially DME. The Director, Consumer Pharmacy Services is responsible for management of all pharmacy related technology under their purview including the retail pharmacy operating system, point of sale system, filling robot, IVR, Kelsey Pharmacy App, and text messaging platform. The Director actively participates in the analysis & negotiation of all retail pharmacy managed care contracts, pharmaceutical vendor/supplier contracts, and business related activities. Director collaborates with other departments within the organization to provide pharmacy law regulatory expertise and ensure that Kelsey Pharmacy Services meets the needs of the organization.
