The https://pharmacy.utexas.edu/ at The University of Texas at Austin is dedicated to providing exemplary education, training, research, and professional development for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) students, graduate students, and postgraduates; to advance discovery, innovation, and patient care. To help advance this mission, we are seeking a distinguished applicant to fill one professional-track (non-tenure), clinical faculty position at the rank of assistant, associate, or professor (depending on qualifications) for a full-time teaching faculty position in the https://pharmacy.utexas.edu/research-practice/college-divisions/pharmacy-practice.

 

The successful applicant will facilitate and coordinate skills-based practice laboratories, provide classroom instruction, and mentor students in the Pharm.D. program. Teaching role will also include pharmacology content in other health professions programs and other teaching as needed due to curricular innovations in the Pharm.D. program. Faculty members will provide service to the college, university, and broader professional community, as appropriate. The successful individual will have plans to develop interprofessional collaborations to advance pharmacy practice, research, and scholarship including the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Qualifications

 

Candidates must: have an earned Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy; be licensed or be eligible for licensure in the State of Texas; and be able to demonstrate effective teaching. Completion of a PGY-1 residency is preferred.
