Chief Pharmacy Officer

With a solid reporting line into the LHMC Chief Operating Officer and a dotted reporting line into the BILH Senior Vice President & Chief Pharmacy Officer, you will be responsible for the overall operational, clinical, and financial performance of the pharmacy and all its subdivisions (all sites included if applicable). Working in collaboration with vice presidents, physician leadership, business managers, and finance and nursing leadership to establish yearly performance goals for the pharmacy which are aligned with the vision and mission of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Responsibilities include:

• Divisional and departmental planning (creating a strategic growth plan) Business development Management/supervision of all management staff Development of a capital and operating budget, including oversight of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, budget calculations, report analysis and expense monitoring 

In addition to a minimum of 10 years of relevant leadership experience in the health care delivery industry, including operations, strategic planning, financial analysis and project management experience, ideal candidates will have:

• Pharm D Massachusetts pharmacist licensure or eligibility MBA or MHA preferred Strong analytic skills to manipulate, interpret and utilize data for process improvement Financial management and budgeting experience Experience in developing and implementing performance improvement initiatives
