Requirements
Preference will be given to those with a Master's Degree, or who are in the process of obtaining such a degree.
Minimum three (3) years hospital experience with progressive managerial responsibilities or equivalent Pharmacy Residency experience.
Preference will be given to those who have completed an ASHP accredited PGY 2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency.
Current unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in New York State with endorsement for administering immunizations.
Must be eligible for the CDTM endorsement. CDTM endorsement may be obtained within one year of hire
Preference will be given to those with Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). If not already BCOP, must be Board eligible and successfully become board certified within one year of hire.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification by American Heart Association, or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and clinical documentation databases.
Training in conflict resolution
Job Description
The Infusion Center Clinical Pharmacy Manager is the supervising Pharmacist and is responsible for the daily operation of the Infusion Center Pharmacy and associated Pharmacotherapy Clinics
Special Requirements
Must be eligible for the CDTM endorsement (CDTM endorsement may be obtained within one year of hire).
Preference will be given to those with board certification in oncology (BCOP) through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS). If not already a BCOP, must be board-eligible and successfully become board-certified within one year of hire.
- Pharmacy Degree from an ACPE accredited school / college of Pharmacy
