LVAD and ECMO ProgramsJob Summary:
Establishes, coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services within the hospital. Functions in the role of consultant and educator of drug therapy to health care workers. This position will care for patients in the neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Pharm. D. or BS Degree.
- PGY-1 followed by PGY-2 Pharmacy Residency in Critical Care or Cardiology PLUS 3 years' experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Critical Care (preferred)
- PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency PLUS 3 years' experience in Cardiology or Cardiac Critical Care will be considered
- Board Certification in Cardiology or Critical Care (preferred)
