General Summary of Position:

• Provides pharmaceutical care to assigned patients under the supervision of a more senior clinical pharmacist/manager. Evaluates and interprets physician orders and dispenses medication and other pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established operational procedures, professional standards or practice as well as District of Columbia and Federal laws.

Education:

• Pharm D. with a residency in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy is required.

Experience:

• Less than one month of previous job experience as a pharmacist.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• Licensure as a Pharmacist in the District of Columbia or eligibility for reciprocity is required.
