We are potentially hiring for a qualified Clinical Pharmacist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our veterans and their families at Travis AFB in Las Vegas, NV.

Status: Full time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 9 hours per day (to include a one-hour, non-paid lunch).

The Clinical Pharmacist must have the following qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions. Minimum 12 months experience working with chronic pain and/or palliative care medicine.
Board certification in one or more of the pharmacy specialties recognized by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties, or completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists or American College of Clinical Pharmacy, or documentation of appropriate education, training, and/or CME in the practice of clinical pharmacy.
A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Due to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship, and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or alien authorized to work in the United States.
