Summary of Primary Function/General Purpose of Position (2-3 sentences)

The Oncology Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist will optimize drug therapy outcomes by providing high quality, cost-effective health care; influencing prescribing behaviors; identifying, preventing and resolving drug-related problems; and educating health care personnel regarding drug therapy.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Years and Type of Experience

Minimum of one year of clinical pharmacy experience, preferably to include oncology experience.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Completion of residency program preferable in oncology. Exceptional communication (verbal and written skills) as well as the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with other health care professionals with minimal supervision. Must be highly motivated and have exceptional time and project management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Additional certification including but not limited too, board certification, CDE, geriatric certification, MTM certification
