Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services

Job Summary: The Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services is responsible for all clinical programs related utilization management, care management, and quality improvement. To do this, this position will lead a team tasked to execute on these clinical programs. The position will also provide general support to Prominence leadership, including the Director of Pharmacy, in making decisions related to clinical services, financial trends, etc. The position will regularly interface with other Prominence Health Plan leaders and with the pharmacy benefits manager, pharmacies, provider offices, members, brokers, and employer groups. This position will also assist with compliance and business development activities.

Requirements:

• Required minimum education: Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy
• Preferred additional education: Bachelors or advanced degree in business-related or finance-related fields
• Required licensure: Current Nevada, Texas, or Florida pharmacist licensure in good standing or ability to obtain Nevada, Texas, or Florida licensure within 6 months of hire
• Minimum experience: 3+ years of previous health plan experience, including Medicare Advantage
• Preferred experience:

o 8+ years of previous health plan experience, including Medicare Advantage

o 3+ years in pharmacy infusions operations

o 4+ years of supervisory/management experience

o Written and verbal Spanish language proficiency

• Home pharmacy infusions operations
• Commercial HMO/PPO/POS
• Medicare Part D
• Mail Service/Specialty pharmacy
• Pharmaceutical benefit design
• Other facets of pharmaceutical, managed care, and PBM industries
