Clinical Pharmacist

Description: The Judge Group is seeking a search for Clinical Pharmacist for one of our renowned client.
Role- Clinical PharmacistDuration- 6+ monthsSchedule- 40 hours week commitment • *****Flexibility to work rotating shifts between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm CST, Monday through Friday. Extended hours and occasional weekends may be required as needed.****
**Position is open to applicants within a 50-mile radius of any of the following four sites:

• Phoenix, AZ
• Schaumburg, IL
• Columbia, MD
• Franklin, TN

Primary Responsibilities:

Utilize prescription and medical claim data to generate clinical recommendations according to Medication Therapy Management and Retrospective Drug Utilization Review program protocols

Provide clinical recommendations pertaining to, but not limited to, gaps in care, high risk medications, compliance and adherence, drug interactions, therapeutic substitution, and generic substitution

Utilize client formulary information to guide appropriate medication recommendations

Keep current with new and emerging clinical trends

Active participation in departmental meetings to improve clinical programs and enhance processes

Share clinical information and department procedure protocols during client site visits

Assist with user acceptance testing for new clinical programs and system enhancements

Support Clinical Intervention Service team as needed for special projects

Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD• Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state where you are applying to work• Strong knowledge of disease state management guidelines• Strong patient care and provider intervention experience

Preferred MTM Certification
