You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Management
  • Schedule and Labor Management
  • Clinical Pharmacy Staffing
  • Performance Improvement and Quality Outcomes Management
  • Professional Practice Advancement

What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or other advanced pharmacy degree
  • PGY1 & PGY 2 Pharmacy Residency in specialty area consistent with practice needs of institution plus contemporary hospital or specialty experience (3 years), with portfolio documenting sustained contribution to practice
  • OR PGY1 Residency AND specialty practice experience (4 years) consistent with practice needs of institution, with portfolio documenting sustained contribution to practice required
  • OR Clinical pharmacy experience in specialty practice (5 years) in a contemporary hospital setting, with portfolio documenting sustained contribution to practice
  • 3 year's experience
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert
  • Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Certification
  • Licensed Pharmacist

Job Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacy Manager shall support the mission of the department, hospital, and health-system by preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems to assure patient safety, improve patient satisfaction, optimize patient outcome and minimize cost. They will perform all functions of a registered pharmacist including accurate and timely dispensing, clinical interaction with the healthcare team, patient teaching, pharmacist and technician supervision.
