Summary of Position:
Ensures that the pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis, promoting desirable patient outcomes through safe and cost effective drug therapies. Establishes and maintains productive collaborative relationships with practitioners and hospital staff. Supports all safety and regulatory initiatives undertaken by the hospital and department. Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to identify and provide pharmaceutical care to the populations served at the Barton Healthcare System: including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, obstetric, chemically dependent, and rehabilitation patients. Participates in all aspects of hospital pharmacy services including but not limited to operations, distribution and clinical pharmacy activities.
