Creighton University, a Catholic Jesuit institution, invites applications for a full-time nontenure track clinical faculty position in primary/ambulatory care at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The focus of practice will be medication therapy management in an ambulatory clinic, polypharmacy, and the development of additional pharmacy care clinics.
Responsibilities include provision of care to ambulatory clinic patients at one of our Family Medicine clinics in Omaha, NE. Additional responsibilities include precepting introductory pharmacy practice experiences, advanced pharmacy practice experiences, PGY1 residents, teaching didactic lectures, maintenance of a program of scholarly activity, student advising, and participation in School and University committees.
The position has an immediate opening and will remain open until filled. The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of practice faculty with an opportunity to collaborate in many areas of practice. Candidates should have an earned Doctor of Pharmacy degree and be eligible for licensure in Nebraska. Residency or equivalent experience is required; board certification in pharmacotherapy is preferred.
