Hospital Director of Pharmacy - Permanent
The Director of Pharmacy directs and coordinates activities of the hospital's pharmacy and personnel. As an expert in pharmacy operations and medication-use systems, this position is responsible for advanced responsibilities in the areas of pharmacy operations, technology and automation, medication safety, quality improvement, compliance, personnel oversight and training, medication compounding and preparation, and education related to all aspects of pharmacy operations. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the inpatient pharmacy, outpatient, and procedural care areas where medications are used.
This position requires candidates to demonstrate a highly developed skillset including but not limited to project management, communication, leadership, clinical knowledge, mentorship, change management, and staff development. Candidates must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion and decision-making, with the ability to provide direction and development and must demonstrate values consistent with hospital.

Requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of clinical pharmacist experience including at least three (3) years in a management or supervisory position.
- Must have successful completion of Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy with an active Pharmacist license issued by the WA Department of Health.
