Academic Pharmacist – Hematology/Oncology
The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology is searching for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank who specializes in pharmacogenomic implementation science. This position represents a major opportunity to build on current critical mass and expertise in personalized therapeutics and drug development to enhance our clinical, research and educational missions. The appointee will provide clinical assessment and treatment for patients based on pharmacogenomic data, enhance translational research to bring pharmacogenomic implementation science to a growing number of patient populations and to examine the process, results, and outcomes of such implementations and establish and expand pharmacogenomic training curriculum and opportunities in this area.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a pharmaceutical doctorate or equivalent, 2) have or be eligible for an Illinois pharmacy license, and 3) have completed postdoctoral training in clinical pharmacology and/or pharmacogenomics.
