Pharmacy Residency Experience Required |CDTM|On-Call Responsibilities

You have the inclination to share your knowledge and guide others

When you see someone on your team struggling, your instinct is to offer guidance. And you do it in such a supportive way that it positively impacts the lives of both your colleagues and the patients you serve every day. Your sole aim is to inspire your pharmacy residency and other health care professionals to achieve high-quality patient outcomes. Your skills will be valued here.

We think what you think is important

And we will look to include you in decisions that affect your work experience, knowing that the people who do the job often have the most valuable opinions as to what is working and what could work better for our patients. Our staff is a diverse mix of individuals who respect each other’s viewpoints, and we welcome their perspectives, as we’ll welcome yours.

Using your expert knowledge in ambulatory care pharmacy, you’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Director of the Pharmacy to coordinate the daily activities of a variety of clinics and the residency program to provide quality, efficient patient care. The successful incumbent will help develop educational programs for the pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff; participate in medical and pharmacy teaching rounds and serve as a mentor/training resource. In addition, you will provide consultative services, assist in quality/performance improvement initiatives, and help develop grant proposals for research projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Program (Pharm.D.)
  • Completion of a Post-Graduate Year Two Pharmacy Residency Program in Ambulatory Care
  • Current New York State license as a Registered Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure, with added CDTM and Immunization credentials
  • Board eligible for BCACP certification
  • At least 3 year’s progressive responsibilities in a hospital or equivalent residency experience
  • Demonstrated decision making and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications and other clinical documentation software
