Using your expert knowledge in ambulatory care pharmacy, you’ll collaborate closely with the Senior Director of the Pharmacy to coordinate the daily activities of a variety of clinics and the residency program to provide quality, efficient patient care. The successful incumbent will help develop educational programs for the pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff; participate in medical and pharmacy teaching rounds and serve as a mentor/training resource. In addition, you will provide consultative services, assist in quality/performance improvement initiatives, and help develop grant proposals for research projects.
- Graduate of Doctor of Pharmacy Degree Program (Pharm.D.)
- Completion of a Post-Graduate Year Two Pharmacy Residency Program in Ambulatory Care
- Current New York State license as a Registered Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure, with added CDTM and Immunization credentials
- Board eligible for BCACP certification
- At least 3 year’s progressive responsibilities in a hospital or equivalent residency experience
- Demonstrated decision making and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in MS Office Applications and other clinical documentation software
