Responsibilities:
The Clinical Manager is responsible for oversight of clinical programs to ensure optimal and efficient clinical processes. This position will collaborate with the pharmacy director and system clinical leaders to effectively review and assess operational and clinical process improvements to maximize clinical productivity. The Clinical Manager will assist the Director of Pharmacy to assure all legal regulatory and accrediting requirements are maintained at the best demonstrated practice. The Clinical Manager will serve as an active member of the pharmacy management team providing effective leadership of clinical staff formulary management cost containment programs and improved pharmacoeconomic outcomes; build and enhance professional relationships with pharmacy staff other healthcare providers and management; and maintain a professional presence throughout the hospital.

Qualifications:
Education:- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD (graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy) is required.Experience:- A minimum of three (3) years as an acute care (hospital) pharmacist is required.- Previous pharmacy leadership experience highly preferred.Licensure/Certification:- Pharmacist License with Virginia Board of Health Professions highly preferred.- Residency and/or Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification highly preferred.
