The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Butler University invites applications for a shared, full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure-track faculty position in precision medicine/pharmacogenomics. This position will be based at hc1, a commercial enterprise delivering the leading precision medicine software platform to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs by leveraging advanced healthcare data analytics. Candidates should have teaching and research experience in precision medicine and/or pharmacogenomics, and will be expected to allocate approximately 50% of their time to University teaching and research responsibilities and 50% to supporting the efforts of our corporate partner, hc1. Primary University responsibilities include teaching Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters in Healthcare Analytics students both in the didactic and experiential components of the curriculum and establishing a program that involves working collaboratively with faculty on joint teaching and research opportunities especially in the area of precision medicine and pharmacogenomics.  Exciting opportunities exist for collaboration with other colleges and programs on the Butler campus and health care organizations and corporations of Indiana.

The successful applicant will possess a doctorate or a PharmD degree with advanced experience or training in precision medicine/pharmacogenomics using healthcare data analytics. Candidates should be committed to the development of a multicultural environment, valuing the input of multiple viewpoints and perspectives across the University.
