Providence is calling a Manager Clinical Services - Pharmacy (1.0 FTE, Variable/Rotating) to Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR

We are seeking a Manager Clinical Services - Pharmacy that will be responsible for implementation and refinement of the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Model at the ministry level

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

Develop and mento of staff in their clinical roles and responsibilities

Work with the Regional Clinical Training Coordinator in creation of staff development programs

Coordinate the implementation of regional Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee drug policy and formulary decisions at the facility

Coordinate the Medication Use Evaluation and Adverse Drug Reaction programs at the facility

Coordinate drug information services to physicians, nurses, pharmacists and other departments within the facility

Be responsible for the tracking and reporting of clinical performance metrics and outcomes

Serve as site coordinator for residency and experiential training programs

Meet ASHP qualifications for residency preceptors, including contribution to the total body of pharmacy knowledge

Be responsible for personnel management of clinical staff as assigned by the DOP

Assist the DOP in staff performance appraisals as it relates to clinical performance

Assist the DOP in medication safety activities and Joint Commission readiness

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

PharmD -OR- Master's Degree in Pharmacy, with residency -OR- equivalent education/experience

Current registration and licensure by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.

Three (3) years of experience in a hospital or health system pharmacy practice

Preferred qualifications for this position includes:

Coursework/Training: PGY-1 Residency Training

Board Certification

Two (2) years Supervisory experience
