Responsibilities:
We are looking for a casual Clinical Pharmacist to work in our hospital pharmacy. At CHI St. Joseph's Health our purpose goes beyond helping people overcome illness or injury. CHI St. Josephs Health works to build healthier communities for our residents, friends, and neighbors so they can experience better health. Our Clinical Pharmacist will provide drug information and assists providers in providing medication therapy for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Compounds, prepares, mixes and dispenses medication and preparations. Oversees activity of pharmacy technicians. In the absence of the Pharmacy Director, a clinical pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Pharmacy Director.

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science degree or Doctor of Pharmacy degree.Current licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Minnesota or eligibleAbility to work cooperatively and independently. Ability to prioritize tasks, make critical decisions, adapt to interruptions and changes in workload/schedule, and respond quickly in emergent needs. Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written). Ability to meet pharmaceutical care needs of all age groups.Preferred QualificationsOne year previous healthcare system experience preferred.
