CHSU has applied for pre-candidate accreditation with ACPE. As CHSU prepares to relaunch the College of Pharmacy program, the Department of Clinical Sciences has a need for qualified candidates for Clinical Sciences (CS) faculty positions. We are seeking energetic, team oriented, highly collaborative individuals to join a faculty committed to student success.
Candidates with backgrounds in inpatient and acute care environments are ideal. Preference will be given to those with experience in General Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiology, Infectious Diseases or Oncology; candidates with backgrounds in other practice areas also are encouraged to apply. We are considering applicants at the assistant, associate, or full professor level.
The Clinical Sciences faculty member is responsible for taking College of Pharmacy students on rotation at clinical sites affiliated with the University, including in hospitals, community pharmacies and healthcare provider offices. The Clinical Sciences faculty member is also responsible for providing academic instruction that is appropriate to one’s field of expertise as assigned by the Department Chair. Additional responsibilities include participation as an active member of assigned college or university committees, scholarship and research, and service as a faculty advisor to students.
